1999 Volkswagen Golf GLS Hatchback 4D (Newer body style) 8400$ OBO My wife and I spent a long time looking for a really good flash red VW golf of this body style with an automatic transmission. It was so difficult to find one that we ended up flying to Illinois to buy it from the original owner. I think it was worth it because the car is really solid and the automatic transmission was important for my wife to have as she was the primary driver. It is really fun to have this car but it is too much money for us to have in a car right now which is the primary reason that we are selling it. We have owned it for almost four months now and haven't had any problems except the cup holder broke. We think the price is fair due to it's excellent condition and because they are difficult to find but if you have a different price in mind, let us know and we will take the best offer.

The plus side -Everything is stock or factory except the tires -Really low miles at a little over 56,000 -Automatic transmission (if you have been hunting all over for one) -Automatic sunroof -Auto windows and locks -6 CD changer in the back with cassete and stereo in the front -Newer tires and brakes -Clean interior, no smoke -Good AC -Remote unlock/lock/panic button keys -Clean windshield, with no cracks -Clean engine, with gas mileage between 22 and 27 miles to the gallon -Purchased from the original owner who gave us all maintanence receipts -We ran a carfax report on it and it showed clean of any wreck and only reported the single owner as ever having it The minus side -The biggest negative is that the air bag light is on. It was on when we bought it and we havn't had it looked at. -There are two 1 inch scuff marks on the body, one on the front bumper and one on the passenger side. They are not very noticeable. -The cup holder is broken. -One of the latches on the glove compartment is broken but it still opens and closes completeley. |
